how does cbd work?

The body has an endocannabinoid system, containing cannabinoid receptors located in the brain, skin and different organs. These receptors have an influence over a lot of behaviors, affecting mood, appetite, stress levels and more. While the body produces endocannabinoids naturally, many compounds in cannabis stimulate this system, including CBD. CBD stimulates and is reported to block certain endocannabinoid responses.
